  Pretty easy drinker. Not really sure what smoke taint is - tastes good, light and simple, but focusing in there is an unusual component of the nose and a slight astringency on the palate.

  The finish is just weird. You expect it to be fizzy. This is just not drinkable to me. Use for cooking in a smoker.

  This particular white is a blend of Pinot and Chardonnay which gives it just the slightest pink tinge in the glass. The OR 2020 vintage was marred by wildfires hence the reason that Pinot is in this white wine. There's just a slight funk on the nose with some white peach and a bit of strawberry. The flavors here tend more toward ripe strawberry and keylime. This is reminding more of a Rose than a white wine. Still I'm enjoying it very much.

  Served by the glass into Riedel white wine glass (“Fruit” to “Root” day): Medium golden to the eyes.
  
  Honeycomb, airy stone fruits like apricots and peaches.
  
  Minerality driven, long finish.
  
  94 points.

  Pinot notes are prominent. Drinks like a savory rose. Corn chips and tobacco. But not in a bad way. Unique
