  Popped and poured. Medium ruby color. Nose of red plum, black cherry, a bit of herbs du Provence, violet and pepper. Very fresh smelling. Similar flavors on the palate with a lightness and juiciness but with some definite underlying savory flavors of herbs and flowers. Medium+ acidity, medium tannin and body. Definitely more of a food wine than a sipping wine but this is very versatile and my favorite vintage of this wine by far.
