On the nose, there is a pleasant green apple and pear acidity atop dry mineral. The palate, with medium (-) body, has a bit of a clean-cut acidity -- not as sharp as, say, that of an Alsatian Gris, but still crisper than any other Cali chard I've had -- and lacks the buttered popcorn junk I pick up on most cheaper CA chard. This wine is most likely unoaked, which is great. The finish is easy to handle, but nothing special, and a bit off-balance.

Typical Chardonnay smell, but a crisp and light flavor that is not so typically Chardonnay. Nice lingering earthy finish.

Nice pear and mineral aromas and flavors dominate this wine, complemented by nuances of white peach and lemon. Clean and refreshing.
