From the winery. This was a little more pricey than their cab, interestingly, but when you taste it you understand why. This is intense, radiant, so bright and lively - it dances across the palate with beautiful acidity, light to medium-bodied. This is so alive and vibrant, with piercing bright red fruit, all so balanced. This is one of the best merlots I've had from Napa - definitely not over extracted and nothing heavy or over-done. Well worth seeking out and a good price. I think they may only sell it at the winery and they don't make much of it. $50 plus tax.

We enjoyed this with grilled tenderolin. For the price, this was an excellent wine and we would reorder it again. In general we are fans of Sequoia grove and this wine is no exception.

Still drinking very well. Fruit starting to fade just a tad, but definitely has as least another year or 2 of shelf life.

Similar to previous notes. Quite balanced, rich and extended.
