  • Sample from J. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean,. pronounced intensity, with aromas of pineapple, golden peaches, bacon oil fat, honey beeswax, yellow flowers and acacia. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of pineapple, ripe golden peaches, beeswax, salty bacon meat and some salinity. Long finish.
Very good quality. Interesting unique wine, but hard to place. Aged characteristics already. Drink and enjoy. When drinking this, it makes me crave some Vongole pasta.
60% Chardonnay, 40% Sauvignon Blanc. Fruit from Barbaresco and Treiso communes. 2014 indeed a good vintage in Barbaresco.
