Of course it's good - you'd expect it to be at price point of EUR 152 / 0,375l.
Nevertheless, it's not breathtaking by any means. Super-intensive and super-sweet, an oily character and a lot of date and suffering from a profound lack of acidity, which is the key point of balance in sich wines. Thus, for me it stops at 89p.

on the nose honey, apricot, pineapple, quince and other tropical fruit aromas.
on the palate we got overwhelmed by an extreme intensity, extreme pressure and full-bodiness. compared to the JJ prüm graacher himmelreich spätlese 2010 the Markus Molitor TBA had more concentrated fruit and less freshness. for me this was a little too much concentration, i'd rather prefer a mosel riesling with less concentration and more freshness.
can age forever, would probably profit from some decanting.

Nose: honey, quince, saffron, basmati rice, mushroom, apricot, pineapple. Almost lacks the slate aromas that are otherwise so typical. Intense.
Palate: massively concentrated with saffron, quince and intense. Full body with still well preserved acidity (medium ~ +). Extremely long in the finish. But compared to Graacher Himmelreich by J.J. Prüm, this is on the ripe, too concentrated side for my taste.
94 points. It is becoming more and more apparent to me that I prefer Spät- and Auslesen to Trockenbeerenauslesen. This is because the acidity is often better balanced with the sugar content.

Tasted at the winery.
Very concentrated perfume. Completely clean botrytis. Raisins, honey, beeswax, candied orange peel.
Very thick texture and somewhat low acidity. Needs more acidity to score even higher, but this smells absolutely fantastic and is downright delicious.
