  Relatively soft and lower in acidity and tannin. Still distinctly Barbaresco and by no means flat, but not a "classic" vintage. Still the usual elements are present with cherry fruit florals and an elegant finish.

  Tuesday dinner in barbaresco in the excellent restaurant Rabaya. 17 sold out so testing the 18. Medium ruby color. Nice dusty nose, a bit of menthol, dry roses, blueberries, raspberries, a bit of mushroom, not very pronounced. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, Med flavor intensity, dry tannins, med finish. Dried berries, dry tannins, petal of roses, a bit of vanilla giving it a sweet touch, green pepper, nice salinity. Quite like it even if a bit sweet with the association of a medicinal sirop.
