  • Really excellent and drinking very well now. The label says Pinot Noir rather than Spatburgunder, and the style reflects this; it does not have the smokiness of many Spatburgunders and is more in the classic style of a Burgundy, on which it delivers very well indeed, with an appealing touch of barnyard on the nose and a rich palate, lacking only some complexity.
