Bouquet with fresh and crisp apples, nice chalkboard minerality, good acidity and slight creamy vanilla notes with time. Overall I would have guessed southern burgundy (Pouilly-Fuissé), since it's quite full-bodied but not as buttery as your standard new world Chardonnay. Really nice wine with a good PQR (especially since I got it for an end of bin sale).

Pale gold color Medium plus aromas of yellow apple - fresh and bruised with touch of oak spices Medium to full bodied with palate of fresh/ bruised yellow apple with underlying hints of butter/ white florals and distinct salinity Medium plus acidity and medium plus alcohol with long finish Distinctly new world based on the palate but with nice acidity and judicious oak influence Drinking well now but would hold 2-3 yrs in hopes of more complexity

Double blind tasting Pale gold, filtered Aromatics medium +. Golden apple, ripe pear, yellow florals. Later buttery oak notes. No pyrizines or minerality Palate has medium + body. Acid medium +. No phenolics. Alcohol medium +. Spice, yellow apple, salt and butter Finish has medium + length. Balanced Dry glass notes of spice. Enticing I guessed a 2014 white burgundy. The malolactic quality and alcohol should have leaned me towards new world though. Drinking well now, but has the structure to age and improve.

Short note - after some time in the glas, butter, pinapple, lemon, lemon candy, hint of oak, dry palate, long buttery finish, gravel like minerality if that makes any sense, still quite light and well structured with medium+ acidity, lacks some complexity and maybe some character, but still a very good quality wine, 88-89p more to come and a style i like, looking forward too the higher quality wines from the producer.
