  • A nice Christmassy golden colour. Ripe apricot fruit hits you the minute you put your nose near it, with some gravel-after-rain minerality and something herbal underneath. Nicely balanced, with enough acid to cut through some rich foods or to be nice to sip unaccompanied.

  • A trial bottle looking for an everyday drinking white from a slightly unusual grape. Pale straw colour, delicate floral nose. Soft on the palate with limited acidity. Flavours of peach and a hint of parma violet. Moderately long finish with a hint of fishermans friend medicinal aromatics. Overall very pleasant, easy to drink, perhaps slightly lacking in truly distinctive characteristics but inexpensive
