  • A bit tight.

  • Splash decant before serving and at first sip realized that anything less than one hour of aeration is a mistake at this point. To say the structure and texture are driven by the tannins is an understatement; desiccating bark and cracked leather came to mind, however there is enough acidity to bring some grape skins and sour cherry pith on the fade. Nose is very typical of Barbaresco- cherry, anise, and cola but its the strength of the aromatics that gives me hope for its future. Maybe 2026? B (85) evaluation now, its just too early for this wine to offer its full potential.

  • Decanted for 2h30m. Tawny, brick-like color. The nose showed light aromas of cherries, some hints of alcohol, and hints of roses. The palate had a nice acidity to give structure to the wine and to balance the grippy tannins. The flavors are of red cherries, with hints of vanilla, and a forest bush kinda flavor on the nice ending. This is very young, but already enjoyable - great price point!
