Still perfectly fresh, with deep lemon verbena and lemon oil aromas, and no oxidation to speak of. Excellent concentration of ripe yet zesty flavours and embedded juicy acidity. Can surely go for another decade.

Second Sunday Group: 2009 Bordeaux (R&D's): Courtesy of PB. Very nice. Pale yellow color with notes of almond and apple. Nice fruit on the palate with a subtle underlying minerality.

On the elegant side. At first some sherry tones. But with air, nice fruit, mushroom and an elegant finish evolved.

Buttery, lemoncurdy nose. Nice concentration, rounded mouthfeel with healthy acidity a mineral kick on the spicy finish. Excellent wine, yet perhaps we'd expected even more? Anyway, it's good to go and will keep too.
