  • This predominatly Carignan based wine from old vines has beautiful dark color in the glass. Dark red fruits dominate the nose. The palate is fresh, still seems young, with lots of tannins, beautiful dark chocolate and spices mixed wit red berries and dark fruits. Very fine and balanced and impressively long and smooth dark chocolate finish. Sublime. Just a hint of heat that bothers. Seek this out, this is Carignan at its best. Who said this grape does not provide high quality wines? Winemaker Marjorie Gallet definiely proves them wrong. - 90 points
