very raisiny nose, but still a little nuance to it. not super concentrated/jammy style. a little anise for aromatic lift. while raisin aroma is usually a big turn off, this wine is very nice for the style.

I really liked this wine. Dark inky red in the glass with a huge nose of molasses, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts (basically pecan pie in a glass)!! In the mouth, the alcohol is quite restrained and the same olfactory notes plus some ripe, jammy fruit notes alternate for attention. I'd buy again for the right price.

Rich full rasination with hints of fruit cake. Liquid rasins. I could make this for you in a blender.
