  Engaging, pretty nose with apples, brioche, lemon. Powerful tart lemon on the palate, long finish, a tad heavy on the acid. Still very good.

  Blind-tasted. My WOTN of 8 blind-tasted single varietal champagnes. Golden. Yeasty, apples. Gala apples, fresh, apple peel. Long bitter finish with some pineapple confit. Lively acidity.

  PnP. Nose of brioche and toasted almond with white chocolate notes. Clean palate of toasted nuts with a creamy mousse. Light lime and minerals on the finish with the bubbles continuing to deliver. 91 points.

  Consensual nose on chalk and citrus.
  
  In the mouth it is a Chardonnay with an easy approach, on a beautiful fruit and tension, with a chalky finish. Good structure and balance. The solar side of 2013 is well restored with this warm side.
