PnP. Nose of brioche and toasted almond with white chocolate notes. Clean palate of toasted nuts with a creamy mousse. Light lime and minerals on the finish with the bubbles continuing to deliver. 91 points.

In the mouth it is a Chardonnay with an easy approach, on a beautiful fruit and tension, with a chalky finish. Good structure and balance. The solar side of 2013 is well restored with this warm side.

Blanc de Blancs from Les Chouettes in Villers Marmery. Disgorged Jul21 with 2 g/l dosage. Loads of apple notes, bordering on cider-y notes. That calms down fairly quickly with some air, and the acid starts to show. Feels unfair to judge this right now as it’s painfully young.

Engaging, pretty nose with apples, brioche, lemon. Powerful tart lemon on the palate, long finish, a tad heavy on the acid. Still very good.
