Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • 12.5% alcohol. Diam10 shortish closure. Pale straw colour.
Very fresh on the nose with lemony aromas mixed with white flowers. Similar focus in the mouth with some hard to describe white fruit (under ripe pear maybe) added; pretty good length, and not overly acidic. Quite broad for Melon, but yet focussed.
A notch or two above La Grange 2020 of the same producer that I had recently, and possibly capable of further improvement. Went well with pan fried cod. A wine of substance, and displaying some subtlety; not to be served too cold.
