Good on the nose with baked bread, yeast, saline and mineral. But falls apart after a few seconds in the mouth and you're left with a hint of bitterness... To bad. I really like mr Leclapart....

Drank this at a wine tasting session at Tunglok Classic @ Central last night.
An interesting wine that is heavy on yeast and a oily, and somewhat fishy notes. The wine has minerals and is heavy as compared to the Aubert et Fils Brut which we had earlier.
If you like your Champagne to be full of flavours and on the weightier side, this is the wine for you.

My first bottle from this producer (have been looking for ages). This is the base cuvee. But it's impressive. Amazing autolytics. Pain grille with honey and lemon oil and green tea and some anise. Dense and rich, especially considering the youth of the vintage. Energetic, pulsing minerality. Great cut. And impressive depth. More like Grand Cru Chablis with bubbles. Then a searing, limestone laden finish.

Surprisingly good from the start but quickly fell apart. After 10 minutes the wines was dead.
