  A couple of years in the cellar really helped this wine... Popped and poured. This wine has already dropped a fair amount of sediment, still a deep purple in color. Nose of sweet plum and mocha. Black cherry and cassis dominate the palate, decent acidic balance, hints of oak, smooth tannins with a slight grip. Compared to the rustic wine this was 4 years ago, it has evolved into a very nice QPR wine. Just wish I hadn't drunk the rest of the case years ago.
