6 - 12 months in tank. 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Smells like a big rich black fruited Grenache. Close to raisin but not quite there. And Grenache in the mid palate, if rather full bore on the fruit character. I supposed nothing not to like, reflects the hot area.

Colour: light to medium ruby red, legs are medium, no sediment Nose: blackberries, blueberry, dried plum, some raspberry, spice, slight leather Mouth: raspberry, plum, nicely balanced acidity, rather dry for Brotte, blackberries, black tea, a little bit hot alcohol Finish: warmth, spices, minerality, nice and long but not overly complex, red currant, leather, meaty at the end, chocolate
Very good Cote du Rhone, probably better in 2 years, great PQR at 5 Euro at Aldi, buy a couple of bottles to store and enjoy over the next years

Taste of plums, dried dark fruits and red currant; spicy, vanilla and some oak notes, wonderful smooth and nice balanced. Probably worth to wait another 2-3 years.
For 5€ a real bargain - Excellent QPR !!!

Nicht so ganz mein Ding. Mir fehlen die Frucht und die Tannine. Ansonsten nicht schlecht.

Some CDR notes when first opened but generally a fruit bomb after that. No bad notes and pleasant enough but not really a CDR.
