  • So I needed a cheeky chard and my father law choose this one. Its was quite Burgundian in the complexity which I hadn't expected. The wine has a fantastic tension and balance which sounds a contradiction but its wine that suggests oak butter characters but its rich and remarkably complex for an unoaked wine. Its a up-front, generous style and a quite remarkable wine.as noted buy others and their right. its just beginning to open up to show its true character.

  • It took a while to open up and display an extremely intresting nose of integrated fruit, oak and smoky or earthy characters. There is a lot going on with this wine. The palate is white nectarine with a grapefruit acidity. It also has a chalky texture and long finish, again showing a unique purity and focus. Stunning Chardonnay. Amazing that I don't think there is any oak in this wine. Still could do with a little more time to develop to reveal everything.
