Aromas of black cherry, mulled spice and black currant. Soft and smooth mouthfeel, opened up nicely after an hour. Flavors of black fruits, brick, hibiscus tea, and perfectly balanced oak. Clay and cassis on the finish. Very nice, important to let it breathe for an hour!

On the nose this wine has wet sand, light oak, seashore, and hibiscus tea, with hints of wet clay and fresh brick. The hibiscus tea flavor permeates into the palate along with the supporting structure of light red fruits such as fresh pomegranate, fresh cherry, and hints of cranberry. It has a bright and clean finish, with an invigorating yet subtle tartness. Best to drink on a summery day or for an outdoor picnic, paired with charcuterie, fruit, and cheese. Or, for a dinnertime meal, paired with a light pasta dish or a mild white fish. For the uniqueness of this Pinot, and the story that it tells with its complex nose, we give it a 97. Keep Guzzlin’.
