  Croatian Bordeaux-blend from Dalmatia: Cabernet Sauvignon 67 %, Merlot 23 % and Cabernet Franc 10 %. Aged in French barrique barrels (225 l) for 24 months. 14 % alcohol.
  
  Decanted for 2 hours prior to tasting and then stored in the decanter during the evening.
  
  Ruby red/black color.
  
  Warm, round and concentrated aromas of nutmeg, black currant, black berries, dark chocolate, blueberries, cedar, tobacco, licorice, black earth and minerals. Powerful and concentrated flavors of black berries, blueberries, nutmeg, tobacco, green pepper and minerals.
  
  Dry. Medium body. Fresh acidity. Sticky tannins. Excellent balance. Excellent structure. Good complexity. Very good concentration. Powerful.
  
  Very long finish with black currant and tobacco.
  
  An excellent red wine with concentration, balance and structure as hallmarks. Approachable now, after 5 hours of aerating, but would benefit from 5 - 10 more years in the cellar.
  
  Knowing that it’s a Bibich wine it’s easy to recognize the typical wild style of Bibich. And this is by far the best Bibich wine I have tried, so far. Compared to the other dry red Croatian wines I have tried, so far, this qualify for top five.
  
  Although I must acknowledge the very high quality of the wine, I can’t say that it’s my preferred style of Bordeaux-blends. It’s pretty far away from anything produced in Bordeaux or even Tuscany. Blind I would probably guess that it’s a Bordeaux-blend from South Africa. 96/100
