Leather, tobacco and vanilla on the nose, prominently so. Medium/full body, with tannins that hit the side while remaining fairly smooth down the middle. Cherry, pepper, raspberry and plum on the palate. The real highlight here is the mouthfeel though - it's a grippy, viscous thing with medium acidity and a nice dryness that really holds it all together. This is certainly a wine for the heavy texture lovers out there. Moreso still if you're trying to ball on a budget too.
