Smelled acidic, with hints of pineapple and apricot. Strong fruit on the pallet, but the finish is clean with the taste of exotic fruit. Paired well with Italian pasta dish, and grilled port the next night.

Alcohol: 13.9% Cork Type: Synthetic Nose/Bouquet: Mild Fresh Cut Oak, and pineapple, apricots with a vanilla background Flavor/Palate:Slight fermentation that quickly turns away into Tangy Pineapple with a hint of peach, cream, and butterscotch. Finish: soft and lingering tropical flavors Color: Clear Very Pale Yellow Chill Factor: 45 F Decanter/Breathing time: 0 minutes, not necessary Potential: Ready to drink but Could Cellar until 2008 Food: Good by itself or with a fish, We drank it with salad. Overall Opinion: A light bodied Chardonnay wine. Very enjoyable. I took a chance on this through a mail order wine club, and I am very pleased with the result of my membership. I would certainly recommend this for anyone starting their cellar. A great wine at an even greater price.
