Open that Bottle Night (Prior Lake, MN): This was solid and improved over time. Cherry, plum, spice, earth, floral and baking chocolates. Medium plus finish. Balanced wine overall.

Dryer tannins, much more acidic profile than the 2016. The smoothness is still there on the finish, and the herbal notes are in better balance. This would work with a big steak or even a stew. Very dry tannins.
