Appearance- Deep garnet color, medium+ viscosity. On the nose- black cherries, black pepper, light dust. Green leaves? Palate- medium+ tannins, medium+ acidity, strong black cherries, medium+ body that lightens after a second on the palate. Game meat/ leather, dust/rust, something with citrus notes. Finish- Acids are left behind and some tannins, which persist for over 10 seconds which eventually could be perceived as bitter. Flavor remains for some of this, though. Very smooth.
This wine has the lightness and simplicity that I like from the (Southern) Rhone. There's not much to hide here, but the strengths of this wine come from its secondary flavors and really good drinkability. Definitely something to pair with heavier foods.

Deep ruby color; black cherries and earth on the nose; tastes like cherries and blackberries, good acidity, smooth tannins, and a long finish.

Wonderul balance and complexity, with notes of bright cherry and other red fruit. Even better after decanting over an hour.
