  Interesting on the first nose with blackberry, raspberry, currant. On the second nose, tobacco and spices. On the palate, herbs and black pepper aromas. High % in alc/vol and acidity is very well present.

  Lovely again. I'm particularly fond of the bouquet that has a wet steel/iron shavings kinda thing going on, complementing the ripe red berries and herbs. Again, the weight of the palate surprises me along with a nice blast of juicy acidity. IMHO, this is a steal at $15.

  This 80/20 Grenache/Syrah blend is a perfectly serviceable daily drinker. Syrah provides a balance to the fruit forward Grenache, garrigue elements peeking through. Easy to drink on its own, it's in its prime now as you want to enjoy the freshness it offers at this stage.
