Bought a half dozen based on a recommendation. I opened one early to confirm it was a good buy and was not disappointed in the smoothness and quality of wine. I was surprised by the very light colour for a cabernet dominant blend. At this stage the wine is very young but is certainly drinkable young. I look forward to see how this wine develops with age.

Not tasted yet. From the Tahbilk website: Cabernet Sauvignon 59% | Merlot 26% | Cabernet Franc 15% A premium and limited one-off release, aromas of cassis and plum fruits with violet and spice hints are reflected onto a generous palate where they are joined by dark berries, fine-grained tannins and cedar oak flavours. Crafted for those who appreciate a serious wine both for current enjoyment or are looking to further cellaring, with its evident rather than intrusive tannins providing the support for added complexity to develop. Massive wine. Needs at least another 5 years to come together
