  Beautiful pronounced int nose, violets, bacon fat, blackberries, garrigue
  Palate juicy with m+ acidity, m- tannin, soft yet elegant - musk, cherries, hint of fennel, earth

  I debated what to do with this but in the end I opted to give it an NR even though I couldn't identify any specific obvious fault. I usually at least mildly enjoy Minervois and at €22 promoted in Nicolas and with nice packaging I figured this couldn't lead me too far wrong but really it gave me nothing. Really lacking in fruit and depth. My guess is perhaps scalped by low level TCA. Will perhaps try again but thats a fairly aggressive price with a lot of competition- the dangers of using cork I guess. Consumers don't always give you a second chance.
