  Rutherford dust upon opening. Let breathe before drinking for 30 min or so
  Smooths out upon airing - dark fruits and tannic on the finish. lighter merlot on the tongue. Smells great

  The inviting nose draws you into deep cherry, plum compote, rose potpourri, green peppercorn, and oil slick. Full bodied, this has very dense tannin and modest acid producing a substantive wine. The flavors, underdeveloped at this stage and quick to fade under the weight of the young tannin, are wrapped in a savory undertone and include Acai, black bean sauce, dark cocoa, dark plum, and black pepper. While its youth masks its depth, it's easy to tell that this will develop a beautiful and engaging profile with a solid five to seven years under its belt.
