Open in the bottle for a couple hours; initially it was spritzy and funky but as it gained air it got smoother and more complex. Nose is slightly smoky, slightly floral, slightly green. Palate is on the full side, but has plenty of lively acidity to make it really easy to drink. Notes of lemon peel, slightly underripe starfruit, honeydew, and a faint white pepper spice. Really lovely. Surprisingly delicious with scallop and spinach risotto.

By the glass at Crooked Ram in NYC. Nose is slightly funky, preserved lemon, orange peel edge. Palate has that slightly funky, natural orange wine edge—good acidity, lemon juice, dusty rocks with a grippy green plum finish.
