Light Sraw in colour On the nose; light vanilla oak, honey, honeysuckle poached pears, gooseberry. Nose to pallete cohesive. Medium acidity, rich mouthfeel, good depth, fairly persistent finish

Yellow gold color. Nose has a bit of flint, musk, overripe fruit, honeysuckle. Full bodied, viscous, honeyed. Fruit leans towards apricot, pineapple, pear. Oak is definitely there but nicely balanced with citric acidity, lemon zest. Stylistically somewhere in between new world concentration and old world austerity. For 20 bucks and change, it's pretty good. Not incredible, but well made and substantial. Paired very well with creamy spaghetti of salmon, peas, and green onion. First time trying South African Chenin. Gonna have to try more SA Chenin and make more creamy pasta :)

Not to my liking. Pronounced oak doesn’t mean with fruit. Probably needs more time. Not buying again.
