  100% Cabernet Franc, unoaked , from previous vintages 40% whole berry fermentation, 30% whole bunch foot-stomped, 30% whole bunch carbonic maceration (60% whole bunch). and as this has been release this year which explains its freshness and vitality
  
  Colour med+ density deep red , can almost see through it, with purple hues and magenta rim. 15/15
  Nose med+ intensity vibrant and bursting with juicy violet fruits, blueberry blackberry mulberry plum , raspberry blackcurrent spices pepper , ginger , interestingly no vegetative aromas , herbal or capsicum 28/30
  Palate med bodied great fruit intensity purity and balanced flavour thorougout the palate , lovely fruit flavours , long silky finish , perfect fine tannins and acidity 41/44
  Overall enjoyable drinking fresh but wonderful balance for a current release wine I have had earlier vintages of this from Penleys and it well worth seeking out 10/11
