I enjoyed this much more than the last bottle,. Perhaps being paired up with some nice sushi rolls made the difference. Still not much spine, but the sweet honey notes and umami make it a welcome mat for spicy fare. 4+10+16+7= 87

Very pale gold with a sparse mousse. Timid aroma. Flavor is nice but generic, and the palate is a bit flabby. I don't like it as much as N.373. Maybe the extra year of age on this isn't helping matters. It seems a little tired. 4+8+15+7= 84
Displays a pale lemon color with a very aggressive mousse when poured into a Riedel “Tulip” glass…excessively frothy and sudsy throughout the first glass, which IMHO was very off putting. Faint aromas and flavors of bitter grapefruit rind, Meyer lemon, and juicy pear. Made using the “Charmat” method, and as such, doesn’t exhibit much in the way of complexity (yeast, dough, or bready notes). Medium minus acidity supports at best, a short finish. Generic and not very interesting.

Nearly identical profile to my first TN but with a big difference - the green apples profile developed further and added pears elements which helps to balances out the grapefruit notes. Still not the profile I would personally seek - but what I am sipping on today is much better balanced and extremely enjoyable.
Cam was right - this needed some time to unwind from it's journey.
