Community Tasting Notes (5) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Dark red at the center, translucent to the edges. Cherries and faint spice on the nose. Elegant on the palate, black cherries, strawberry, earthy notes, bright spice. Soft but precise tannins, bright acidity, excellent balance. Finishes long and gentle, bright and pretty with strawberries. Drink next 4 to 5 years.

  • My score is based on freshly opened bottle. Upon opening amazing wonderful fruit. My mouth watered for minutes afterwards. It was crazy.Drank half the bottle with consistent notes. VacuVin the wine overnight and tried next day. Not quite what I tasted last evening, but still an amazing wine. I give it 92 points day after.

  • This has really improved over the last year. Bright red color with faint translucence. Lovely nose of lavender and cherry. Bright, precise, crisp fruit, black cherries, cracked black pepper. Fine tannins, great structure, bright acidity, great balance. Finishes long with dark fruits and great acidity. Lovely wine and I think it will need another 2 years to peak, then drink it for another 3 years (or more) past that.

  • Brite cherry red color. Deep black cherry aromas. The fruit is rich and sweet, cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, hint of violets. Fine tannins, excellent acidity and balance. Finishes moderately long with black cherry notes. Very nice now, but needs to develop for 2 to 3 years. I'd drink over the next 5 to 8 years. 91 points but it may improve with some age.
