14.7% Alc, 6.1g/L TA, 0.05%$ RS. PNP into ISO tasting glass ("Leaf" day): Medium garnet with fine deposits.
Clearly high amount of new oak influence evident on nose, with cedar and vanilla notes, cigar box, cooked red prunes and plums.
Medium acidity, again lots of toasty oak, high amount of tannins but quite smoothly textured. A little drying and alcoholic on the finish.
Drink up! 90 points.
