  Color: very pretty clear light ruby with some brick orange
  Nose: raspberry and red frutti di bosco, orange peel, stemmy with fresh cut weeds. There is a bit of violet too, as well as cola spice
  Palate: balanced with medium-high acidity and a light body; tannins are light and tea-like but certainly present. The red berry character confirms the nose, this has a nice umami feel to it
  Finish: medium
  
  This is just outstandingly made German styled new world Pinot. I think this is actually pretty unique. It has a lot of fruit, more than a German wine would have, but also a lot of other interesting things going on in the background. Light but so aromatically endearing, i have a hard time thinking of a better match for a salmon dinner, especially if you are going with potatoes as a side. I liked this 2 hours after pulling the cork, slightly chilled
