We enjoyed this Cabernet Sauvignon on its own then with lamb stew. It’s dark purple with medium to full body and modest (for CA) alcohol at 13.7%. It has mainly dark cherry and black fruit with a hint of oak and maybe a hint of cola. It’s nicely balanced with a long finish.

More red fruited and high-toned than the 2019. This tastes much younger, and it has altogether less pyrazine character. I think it's still in the monolithic phase; I'd like to try it in a year or two when the cabernet character starts poking out.
