  I'll continue to sing the praises of the quality coming out of Alta Langa. When you can find it, it is will worth the price under $30. Gives you the yeasty, toasted nuts character. Acid isn't super high, decent length finish. Great to have as a cellar protector.

  Green apple skin and interior predominates, with bruised pear and biscuit. Some peach, strawberry, and blossom begin to emerge with air and slight temperature increase. Lively acid is pleasantly a touch less than I expected. Fine bubbles, nice medium mousse. 85% Pinot Noir; 15% Chardonnay. 36 months on lees. No oak. Next time I will open the bottle an hour before planning to drink, and pour a little to taste, then see how it has evolved in the fridge. Not 100% sure how well bottle was stored previously, but seems unaffected.
