drank a couple of weeks ago. Falls into that catagory of good WA riesling but not in the league of Germany rieslings. Bright refreshing, lemon, residual sugar, some tart acids are about all I can remember.

Swordfern Wine Tasting #9: Riesling (Paul & Kelli's: Seattle, WA): Tasted blind as part of a Riesling tasting. This nose smelled like I just pulled into a gas station; all rubber and gasoline. By far the most restrained palate of the night, with some fig and herbal notes coming through. Somewhere between austere and ungenerous.

Pre-dinner and salad wine (salad was a strawberry, goat cheese, pecan, mixed greens with a balsamic vinaigrette).
Paired nicely with the salad. Neither overly complex nor in your face, but refreshing and good balance of acidity.
