- Garnet color and aromas of tobacco, blackberry and eucalyptus. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of blackberry and strawberry with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish - Not too bad. Good for drinkin' not thinkin'!

This wine’s aroma is very strong and well defined. It’s deep and spicy, with dark red fruit tones, chocolate covered blueberries and plum, combined with beautiful foresty aromas that make me think of fresh pine needles and rosemary flowers. A good spin in the glass brings out some black currant, charcoal, and a little bit of suede, with a menthol component showing through just around the edges.
The palate opens with plum and fruit cake flavors, molasses, and kitchen spices. There’s a bit of leather, some wild honey, and some perfectly ripe black plum and raspberry, leading to a combination of all of these things unfolding lightly on the finish.
This is a nicely done wine. It has perfect balance of fruit and spice, and the tannins are firm but pleasantly delicate. It’s smooth and medium bodied with good varietal definition and a nice amount of complexity. If you’re new to Touriga Nacional, have never had one outside of a blend, or are already a fan and are looking for a solid one, this is a great buy at the price.

Quite a lot of bottle variation here. This time it was tangy and zippy, but still exhibiting smoke and dark fruit. Clashed badly with fettucine alfredo.

Dark fruits, predominantly prune. One-dimensional, but brings a lot of grip. A decent daily drinker.

Like last bottle, quite tangy, but this time bordering on sour. Worked well enough with food, but by itself was angular and sharp.
