Bottle popped and poured. The color is turning from purple to tile red but is still dark, has thin watery rim, hardly noticeable. The viscocity is medium. The nose provides pencil, sour milk and pickles, capsicum and earthy flavors. The mouth feel is balanced, relatively long and has plummy taste driven by the merlot variety (75%). The pepper and tannins come from the cabernet franc. The wine is in overall balanced and delicious, tannins are still nicely present, however, does not create wow effect. Good wine and enjoyble with hard cheeses and bellota ham.
