  Another wonderful wine from Deldotto.
  Full bodied, round, and exceptional. The bouquet was fruit forward, very pleasant and very appealing. Never would have guessed it was 14.9% alcohol. The medium tannins, medium acididy, were so well integrated and balanced with the alcohol that you got a seemless sensation of silky smooth fruit with every pleasurable sip. Lots of brooding red fruit like cherry, plumb and cassis. There were suttle hints of chocolate and vanilla plus traces of celery, maybe red peppers. A little taste of cherry pie on the lasting finish. Drank before dinner. I became very immersed in the every changing perplexity of this wine. It evolved so gracefully in the glass. Decanted for about an hour, but it really did not need it. The wine sang from first to last sip like
  Andrea Bocelli's voice in a glass.
