Fresh cherries and red grapes - juicy, yet light and unobtrusive. Very drinkable on its own. I don't know that I'd seek it out, but I'd be happy to have another bottle if the opportunity arose. Very bright and light, balanced taste.

From reading the existing reviews I can only surmise that this wine has matured at this point. It is soft and approachable. Light for a Zinfandel but has ripe fruit and a pleasant lingering finish. Not a blockbuster but for the price, a "drink now", steal. Cheers!

Very much a normal zinfandel, but with less complexity than one expects from wines labeled old vine and costing $16-20. Often when I get zin in restaurants and almost never at home, I pick up a solvent-like aroma that I really don't like. There was a hint of this in this wine, and perhaps it was too warm (75ish rather than 60ish). Seems ready to drink now. For $11 I'm quite happy - mostly all I can say negative is "not as spiffy as the $17 stuff".

Disappointing, fake fruit flavor. What can you expect though for $9?
