  On opening, a faint copper tint. Moderately aromatic, tree fruit, but earthy. Concentrated palate, not expressive, maybe slightly reduced. Dry, with elevated acidity.
  Recorked, 3/4 full, for two days. On reopening, color now gold; aromas are elevated, mostly ginger and honey with pear (botrytis?). Palate now sec tendre, rich, spicy. A startling change, but I liked both versions.
