  • Good wine with a flinty, lightly smoky, lightly reduced character. Palate shows nicely poised acidity and a certain spiciness. Can’t help comparing this to named-village Mâconnais wines from other producers like Domaines Leflaive: there is a palpable step down in concentration and heft here, though the wine is priced accordingly.
