From memory - a good example of why I prefer German Rieslings.. good producer, good terroir but it lacks the complexity and diverse aromas and flavours which I would expect to get from a similarly priced German version. Here there is a natural wine element, with reduction and pâté-like flavours which don’t go away.

Fine little wine, but more typical Kreydenweiss than typical Riesling. Somehow I feel that this style fits better with the other white Alsace varieties than with Riesling.
