Although this bottle was getting onto the older side (found when sorting my wine), still enjoyable, mildly tannin, easy to drink. Enjoy with red meat dishes, consumed with a hearty beef stew.

85% merlot; 15% carmenère A precise nose: plummy black fruit with a sort of dusty edge. On the palate, it's a bit lacking in varietal character. A nice wine, but a bit ordinary. Easy drinking, possibly made in a style that's a bit too easy. No great length.

pleasant enough, a little innocous, nothing to offend, a touch of sweetness on after taste; would not rush out to buy another bottle.
