Community Tasting Notes (7) Median Score: 90 points

  • Bottle in very good condition with excellent fill and cork not completely soaked. Pnp and drank over 2h. Very healthy transparent garnet color. Initially musty notes on the nose which disappear over time, on the palate this seems at the end of it's drinking with a little remaining fruit and leather notes which grow with more air. Initial tannins also disappear with more time in the open bottle. Short finish.
Not a 70 point wine as per the note below but clearly a wine that needs to be drunk now as it is at the end of its life.

PS: Almost no sediment. Likely a rather light and early drinking vintage here.

  • - Ruby color - Excellent wine, unfortunately this bottle was not a great one.

  • Gorgeous, radiant brick color. Opens a but musty. Green herbs on the nose, with VA in the background. Very savory old-wine texture. Not much fruit, sour-tasting and a bit soapy. Not as bad as I'm making it sound, but a disappointment. No great wines, only great bottles, and this wasn't one.

  • Huge disappointment right after opening. Took 30 minutes to come together, outstanding
