Definitely not my immediate preference...not bold, high acidity, fruits dominant, not very intensive or oaked oriented... but... I loved it... so... let's try more 🍷👍 👍 Nice clear brigh relativel dark, red color👍
Medium body. High acidity. Well felt tanines. OK structure.
Mildly aromatic, red & black fruits, vaguely spices, terroir and barrels.
The color is medium ruby. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of black cherries, black plum, violets, coffee, leather. The acidity is high and the tannins are low. The body is medium. On the palate the flavors are also pronounced and similar to the nose with sour cherries in addition. The finish is long. Drink this wine over the next 3 to 4 years. It is not suitable for further ageing. This is a really nice Barbera. For me, it is perfect with dishes like Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese etc. Glass I used: Josephine No 3.

No off flavors is the best compliment I can give it. Pretty lackluster and not even a great pairing with either pizza or risotto. Better barberas out there, especially at this price point.
